It is used to increase the viscosity of aqueous solutions without causing any change in taste, odor or color.

Furthermore, it efficiently stabilizes cosmetic o/w-emulsions by preventing oil droplets of the emulsion to merge after mixing.

It has high tolerance against salts, acids and heat. An can achieve Transparent yield to your aqueous formulation.

At room temperature you get a completely clear and homogenous gel by simply adding 0.20 to 0.50% to water while stirring for approx. 1 min.
