Description:

Lactic Acid is called Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), a chemical exfoliant, this is known to be very effective in exfoliating dead skin on the epidermis. It works by dissolving dead skin debris and lipids sticking on top of the skin.  People with sensitive skin will find lactic acid to be the gentler acid.

This form of acid falls under AHA category ideal for chemical exfoliation.
