COSPHAGARD-CAP / Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol

Description:

This is broadspectrum preservative with a mixture of phenoxyethanol and the boosting agent caprylyl glycol which is also water-soluble. The blend is used to replace controversial preservatives like Parabens, MIT, Triclosan, Formaldehyde donors etc. The antimicrobial efficacy against bacteria,yeasts and moulds is comparable to many chemical preservatives. Cosphagard Cap is globally approved and considered as very mild to the skin and is compatible with usual approved formulation even in leave-on products.
